Networking is a vital part of the job search. To date, I’ve gotten five jobs through referrals. Though it can sound intimidating, networking can be fun if you find events that you'll enjoy. Some events can include a networking happy hour, speaker panels, or company tours. I was referred to my first job out of bootcamp by someone I met at a drone meet up!
